I am the General Manager of The Cannery and Toulouse Gourmet Catering.
I grew up in Metairie, Louisiana, attended Mount Carmel Academy, Louisiana State University and graduated from UNO with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I worked in the service industry for 10 years in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
My front of the house experience in casual and fine dining gave me the knowledge to multi-task and be very detail oriented plus my love of throwing a great party made joining the team here a perfect fit. So, after a few years of being a stay-at-home mom I joined The Cannery in 2012. This also came with the added opportunity to work with my childhood best friend, Kellie Schilling Levy, who opened Toulouse Gourmet and The Cannery with her family.
I started in wedding sales but as I learned various aspects of the company, I have now moved to the management side of the business. I still get to plan an event here or there but nowadays I am enjoying making sure Kellie and our team have all the tools necessary to build fabulous weddings and events. On a personal note, outside of The Cannery, I love to play tennis, spend time with friends and enjoy volunteering with my children’s schools but most importantly I love being a wife and mother and taking care of my family.
